How many times do you set an intention or goal, and feel disappointed or upset when you achieve it? You feel confused...unfulfilled...empty.
That’s because you were co-creating with what you CURRENTLY know.
I was listening to Dr. Joe Dispenza on Lewis Howe's program the other day. He said that in order to fall into alignment and create space for synchronicity, we need to co-create with a future vibration.
Think about it. If you’re only co-creating with what you currently know, what’s currently in front of you, than you’ll probably stay in that current vibration. How could you move out of it if everything you’re working with is still in it?
I have a 3D example to ground this metaphysical theory for you. Imagine you want to redecorate your home. You’re tired of the way your drapes hang, the color of your furniture set. You feel like you’ve outgrown the space, it just isn’t “you” anymore.
And so you start rearranging your furniture, moving your artwork around your walls. You even clean the whole space top to bottom.
And yet you don’t feel any different. Now you’re just exhausted from moving and cleaning all day.
Because you were only working with what you already knew, expecting to create something suitable for the new or future you.

1. ANALYZE YOUR CURRENT VIBRATION — A "vibration," informally, is defined as "a person's emotional state, the atmosphere of a place, or the associations of an object, as communicated to and felt by others." What is your emotional state? Sit with yourself and analyze what you're feeling and why you're feeling that emotion. Getting to the root of your emotional vibration will help you visualize the vibration you want to create.
2. DETERMINE A GOAL OR VISUALIZE YOUR FUTURE SELF — Something spiritual leader Dr. Joe Dispenza says is that we need to visualize the emotions we will feel in the future living in our new vibration.
For example, let's say you've analyzed that you are currently experiencing low-self worth and self-esteem, which you've identified as a roadblock to your happiness. Imagine a life where you felt confident, secure and at peace with yourself; knowing that you are worthy of everything you desire. Imagine that new vibration existing right now.
3. RELEASE ATTACHMENT TO ANY OUTCOME — Remember, setting intentions can be dangerous because an intention is myopic. It reflects what we CURRENTLY desire, a decision we created with the things we CURRENTLY know. Yes, when we achieve our originally desired vibration, we can repeat this process again and again until we achieve the one we truly desire. But, if we make a commitment to just changing our vibration, with no attachment to what the new one will feel like, then we are allowing space for God/The Universe/Whatever Higher Power You Believe In to bring us the vibration we truly desire.
